Alhassan Ahmadu Dantata (born May 16, 1957) is a distinguished Nigerian businessman and a direct descendant of the legendary Alhassan Dantata (1877 – August 17, 1956), one of West Africa’s most influential entrepreneurs.
His grandfather built an empire through commodities trading with the United Africa Company and the Royal Niger Company, dealing in groundnuts, kola nuts, textiles, and precious stones.
After launching his career in 1978 alongside Usman Dantata and Aliko Dangote, he established himself as a leading investor. He now heads Crescent House Limited, an investment management firm overseeing SIDIL GROUP.
